Life Countdown
The Life module shows a countdown from your birthdate to a configured end point. It’s a perspective tool, not a productivity feature. Use it or don’t — it’s entirely optional.
- Open the Life tab (or go to Settings → Life Module).
- Enter your date of birth.
- Choose a display mode.
- Choose a tone setting.
Display modes
Section titled “Display modes”| Mode | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Years remaining | Years until configured life expectancy |
| Decades remaining | Decades remaining, displayed as a grid |
| Life percentage | How much of your configured lifespan has elapsed |
Tone setting
Section titled “Tone setting”The Life module has two tone options:
- Neutral — plain numbers and progress without commentary.
- Direct — more confrontational framing (“X years left”, not “X years remaining”).
The tone setting affects only the copy displayed in the module. The underlying data is the same.
Life expectancy
Section titled “Life expectancy”You can configure the life expectancy used for calculations in Settings → Life Module → Life expectancy. The default is 80 years. This is used only for calculation — it does not reflect any medical estimate.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Your date of birth is stored only on-device. It is not included in cloud sync and never leaves your device.
Toggling the module
Section titled “Toggling the module”To show or hide the Life tab, go to Settings → Modules → Life. Your configuration is preserved when you hide it.
Widget
Section titled “Widget”The Life Countdown widget shows years or decades remaining on your Home or Lock Screen. See Widgets for setup.
