On iPhone 15 and later running iOS 17+, widgets are visible in StandBy mode (landscape on nightstand). TappRFID widgets are StandBy-compatible.

Widgets refresh when:

  • You complete a task or add a log entry.
  • The app moves to the background.
  • iOS triggers a background refresh (typically every 15–30 minutes, subject to system decisions).

If a widget appears stale, open the app briefly to force a refresh.

Widget shows ”—” or no data:

  • Open the app to ensure data is loaded.
  • Long-press the widget → Edit Widget → reselect the data source.
  • Delete and re-add the widget.

Widget not appearing in the picker:

  • Open TappRFID at least once after installation.
  • Restart your device if the widget is still absent.
