Year Progress
The Year module shows a visual summary of all your task completions across the last 98 days. Every dot in the grid represents one day for one task.
Reading the grid
Section titled “Reading the grid”The grid is arranged in rows (one row per task) and columns (one column per day). Dots are colour-coded:

|---|---|
| Green | Task completed on time |
| Yellow | Task completed late (after interval lapsed) |
| Red | Task missed entirely |
| Empty | Day not yet reached or task not yet created |
The most recent day is always the rightmost column.
What 98 days shows
Section titled “What 98 days shows”98 days is approximately 14 weeks or 3 months. This window gives you:
- Streak visibility — gaps and runs of completions are easy to spot.
- Pattern recognition — see which days of the week you typically miss.
- Long-term momentum — enough history to show whether habits are holding.
Year overview
Section titled “Year overview”Below the dot matrix, the Year module shows:
- The current year and what percentage of it has elapsed.
- An aggregate task completion rate across all tasks.
- A monthly breakdown showing completions per month.
Best streaks
Section titled “Best streaks”The detail view lists your best ongoing streak per task, and your best overall streak.
Using the widget
Section titled “Using the widget”The Year Overview widget shows the current year progress and a compact dot grid on your Home or Lock Screen. See Widgets for setup.
Performance
Section titled “Performance”The Year module is optimised to handle large task histories. Calculations are memoised so the grid renders quickly even with many tasks and long histories.
Toggling the module
Section titled “Toggling the module”If you don’t need the Year module, you can hide the tab in Settings → Modules. Your data is preserved.
